Notes
------
This song uses 4 Guitars. Guitar1 is an acoustic guitar. Guitar2 is
an overdriven electric guitar, used to play all the solos. Guitar3
is also overdriven, and plays power chords over the PreChorus and
Choruses.
The 8-bar solo in the Intro uses a wah-wah pedal for the last 8 bars.
This is used mainly as a `filter` rather than as a straight wah-wah
effect. All the solos throughout the song are based on this solo.
The solos sound clearest in the left hand stereo channel, in the right
hand side there is usually a keyboard part present as well.
The `Pinched Harmonics` in the second 8-bar solo, is produced by
catching the string with the side of the thumb (on the picking hand)
whilst striking it with the plectrum.
The verses just use Guitar1, playing D and Dsus4 chord shapes. Keep
strumming `free and easy`, I haven`t notated it.
The PreChoruses use all 3 guitars. Guitar1, plays a simple strumming
pattern for the first 4-bars then plays arpeggios of the chords named
above the stave. The guitar is buried a bit too low in the mix so it
wasn`t possible to transcribe the exact parts played. All the arpeggios
are played using the bar chord versions of each shape (as shown in the
TAB chord stave). If you aren`t used to playing bar chords and/or
arpeggios this can hurt your hands - so take it slowly. (and warm up
properly, like your mum undoubtably always tells you to) Guitar3 plays
power chords and Guitar2 appears in the last 4-bars of each - playing a
solo based on the intro figure.
