Yet another huge hit in Albany, NY (2 on WPTR during the summer of `66)
but apparently nowhere else. This adaptation of an old gospel number
(the Blues Project did essentially the same song as `Wake Me, Shake Me`)
was recorded by the New York-based Myddle Class and appeared on Goffin
and King`s short-lived Tomorrow label. Singer David Palmer went on to
a brief tenure with the early Steely Dan lineup; bassist Charles Larkey
married Carole King.
